He started radio at Radio Lynk ,then moved to Radio Mercury 91.5.He later changed his environment to Brong Ahafo region, Nananom 92.5fm.

In 2004, he again stretched his feathers back to Kumasi’s No.1 Radio station Hello 101.5fm.He is the eldest son of Mr and Mrs Annan and a brother of four.

When David Annan A.K.A Dave Hammer is on air hosting the branch time(Working Time) on Kumasi’s Station Hello 101.5fm, he always keeps abreast of all fire works.” I work hard to keep my show running each and every day”, he told 24 Hours.
           

Dave Hammer has been the regular host of the Brunch time since the refurbishing of Hello fm’s ID this year. His 2 Hour- show is jam-packed with juicy Entertainment News, Strange Stories, and Music Update, interviews, movie previews. He is fond of saying these words on his show “Men ti bi da” “Men Hunu bi da.”


The Brunch time with Dave Hammer starts at 10am till noon every day was a bomb.On Saturdays, Dave Hammer used to hosts the Groove Control on Hello 101.5fm.Listeners’ favourite love programme every weekend 10pm top 12midnight.The programme aims at advising both old and young adults in their relationship, ways to improve a relationship.

He is also an veteran actor .He starred in Awaisi Yesum and Asem Beba.



 He has now projected his show to a higher level.
Dave Hammer’s current plans are to blow listerners’ mind on the Brunch  time and guide them on their relationship on the Groove Control.
He always update listeners with new release in all music genres.He slams and mixes to mesmerize listeners pleasure.

He is also a Lecturer at College of media  Studies  at Suame Round about in Kumasi Ghana.
